Someone said to me this weekend, "You must be so busy." And the word and the feeling makes me CRINGE.

No thank youuuuu. I don't do busy and I don't do hustle.

It's not my state of being, and I'm curious and I invite you to explore if it's the hustle that the truth of who are desires to live in.

See, we can make it mean something about who we are... The busy.

Wear it as a badge that defines our good enough-ness. Or use it as distraction from all that lives within the slowing.

What if you got still enough to take inventory on allllll the things that take up alllll the space in your life.

What if you decided to say no, to drop out of auto pilot, let go of the 'shoulds' and the programmed expectations.

Take a deep inhale and witness the state of your current being.

The way you hold your body, the anxiety that stirs in the belly, the contraction that makes it hard for the flow of the breath.

Now, release that breath.

Knowing that you don't have to go all of the time. That you can stay, and slow and be.

That you can let life be made up of days that feel full, not busy.

This week we can land inside a private meditation session, virtually or in person, to calibrate your busy to a new grounded state of being.

Where you'll think to yourself afterwards, Mmmmm hmmmmm more of this please. Way more of this.

Breathing into this new way.

The word and the feeling and the intention to STAY has been within me for a few months now.

As an invitation to explore the way that we can consciously choose to stay and experience more presence within ourselves, within our relationships and within our lives.

And it's hard AF. And it also doesn't have to be perfect.

As many moments as we move away from, numb from, react inside of is as many moments we can be aware and slow enough to drop in to.

We stay, and we breathe.

We create the space to show up for the breath, we breathe in the discomfort of the stillness and we stay to breathe through it.

We stay, and we feel.

Without an attachment or a belief that the feelings become who we are, it gets to be safe to stay in the experience of them and move the energy of the emotion through our bodies.

We stay, and we see.

We hold a gaze and we witness the truth of a person. We see the truth of ourselves. We see the truth of the ones we're in relationship with - our partner, our children, our family, our friends, our community. We don't see inside of our perception, but we see clearly their truth and we stay... long enough so that we are seen, so that we see our people.

We stay, and we listen.

Without reaction to respond, we slow enough to stay and to hear. To be present, and to learn. To be available and to understand.

We stay, and we love.

We soften and experience ourselves and others through the lens of wholeness. With love over fear or judgment or expectation. We stay, and we stay gently.

This is an invitation to notice what lives in the energy to race around all of the time. The mind and the body following to move to the next thing. Pushing. Running. Doing. On and on and on. An invitation to simply notice.

And to begin to stay.

Where we can create a deeper connection. In this slowness. In presence.

I've pulled the same card over and over the past week.

For myself, for those guided in private meditation sessions, for us.

The call for us to retreat and to rest and be held.

We are between seasons now.

Hibernation to Awakening.

When I felt the rise into the energy of a new season recently, I very quickly experienced the pull to slow again. To stay. To still. I received the message that it's not quite time. Just yet.

Message received. Because when we aren't nurturing our inner being we tend to seek that comfort from the outside world. In the human experience, we are reaching for something to ground us. But we know just what we need, don't we?

We just need to slow enough to allow ourselves to feel what our soul needs now.

It's about finding your medicine in between these seasons.

Knowing that it might shift from what you've needed to nourish yourself before.

More sleep perhaps as you integrate the inner work from the past season.

A deeper experience with the breath to slow energy, to find your centre.

Moving through the trails or time at the water, held by Mother Earth in receiving energy.

A different form of movement, intuitively following a flow with the body.

Holding yourself here, finding footing here, moving stagnancy, opening.

Creating in ways that bring you back home and being with it without force and gently.

Saying one thousand 'No's' because you know now that it's not time.

In honour of deep replenishment now.

It's almost time to EMERGE.
